**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
+ Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
+ Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and supporting orderly movement at gates and/or receiving areas.
+ Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing for suspicious behavior, checking restricted areas, and communicating concerns in a professional manner.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.
+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
